Inspiration is a funny thing – it tends to strike when you least expect it. As someone with African heritage, I’ve always believed in the power of representation and the beauty of diversity. I could be out for a walk, watching the clouds, and suddenly the perfect pun will drift into my mind like a soft breeze. Or I might be chatting with a loved one when a funny story sparks an idea for a card that’ll make you giggle.

Ah, puns – they’re the sprinkles on top of the creativity cake! For me, coming up with the perfect pun is like solving a delightful puzzle. I love playing with words until they form the perfect picture.

3. A Fun Story from the Creative Trenches

One day, I was in the kitchen, minding my own business, when I opened the spice cupboard and a stick of cinnamon fell out. As I picked it up, I thought, “Hmm, what a stick-y situation!” That silly little moment sparked the idea for a card featuring a pair of cinnamon sticks holding hands with the caption, “Sticking together!” It just goes to show that even the most ordinary moments can lead to extraordinary ideas!
